At the beginning of an outstroke, a valve in the head of the cylinder opens and admits a charge of burning gas and air, which is trapped by the closing of the valve and expands. Towards the end of the stroke the charge comes into contact with a water- or air-cooled part of the cylinder and is chilled, causing a sudden drop in pressure sufficient to suck the piston – which is open towards the crank – back on the return stroke. The valve opens again in time for the piston to expel the burnt gases before the next outstroke begins.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-large;">1. Step</span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> (2016.03.06)</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Hi, i decided to make vacuum engine in home. I never done something like this before, but always wanted to do it, so let's start.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I had few aluminium pieces of 30mm diameter, took one, started to make a cylinder.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I think it's not bad. The hole diameter is 14mm. Cylinder diameter 29mm, Cylinder hole depth is about 35mm. Need piston now...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So here is "final product" :) Now I have to design all other parts to fit for this cylinder. I will do it with Solidworks. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
P.s. Piston diameter is 14mm length 14.8mm. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Please comment if you have any ideas, or if you will see, that i am doing something wrong. :) </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You will see progression in a few days. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
